Business Development Manager- Refinery


  • Identify, develop, and nurture new business opportunities within the B2B sector, focusing on Refinery solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and industry partners to foster collaboration and drive business growth.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients, showcasing the company's products and services.
  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to identify business opportunities and risks.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities to senior management.
  • Travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and explore new markets.

Qualification & Skills Needed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record of 5-10 years in B2B business development, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in the Refinery is highly desirable, with a particular advantage for candidates with experience in refinery-related projects.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, customer relationship management, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strategic approach to business development.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools and other relevant business development software.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends and competitor activities.
