Brief Job description :
We are seeking a passionate and creative industrial design intern to join our team. As
an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the plastics product
development process, from concept generation to prototyping to final production. You
will work closely with experienced designers and engineers to bring innovative and
functional plastic products to life
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Assist in the research and analysis of plastic materials and manufacturing
processes - Develop creative concepts for new plastic products
- Create detailed product sketches and renderings
- Build physical prototypes using various plastic fabrication techniques
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure product designs are manufacturable
- Prepare technical drawings and documentation
- Present design concepts and prototypes to team members and stakeholders
Key Skills :
- Strong understanding of plastic materials and manufacturing processes
- Proficient in industrial design software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks
- Excellent sketching and rendering skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design or a related
field - Additional qualifications
- Knowledge of mold design and tooling
